Official: Belarus to buy 1.58 mln tns of oil from Russia in July

MINSK, Jun 23 (PRIME) -- Belarus plans to purchase 1.58 million tonnes of oil from Russian companies in July, including 1.495 million tonnes by pipeline, spokesman for Belneftekhim Alexander Tishchenko said on Tuesday.

"In the framework of the 2020 indicative balance, the Belarusian refineries will buy 1.58 million tonnes of oil from Russian oil companies. Of this volume, 1.495 million tonnes will be delivered by the system of main pipelines and 85,000 tonnes by railway," the official said.

He said that the rest of demand of Belarus will be covered by tanker supplies.
